Corporate Identity Questionaire

      1) What is your business?
Creating mixed media paintings.

2) Describe your business in one sentence
It is a personal business, producing mixed media paintings to be exhibited.

3) Who is your target audience?
Galleries, curators, and patrons.

4) Who are your competitors?
All other artists, the main ones being at the same level of experience as me.

5) What makes them better/worse than your product/service?
Depends on the artist, medium, level of experience, amount of exposure (are they well known), and personal opinion.

6) Do you currently have an identity?
An identity has been started, but it needs work.

7) (If your answer to #6 is no, skip this question) What do you like about it and what don’t you like about it?
I like: the color scheme, the paper for printed documents, the business card image.
I don't like: the way the font works with the image, and the layout needs work.

8) How do you want your image to be seen in two years?
I would like to be seen as a respected professional artist (as professional as you can be seen in grad school).

9) If your company was an animal, what animal would it be and why?
A jellyfish, they are very organic looking, but still a clear image (much like most of my paintings).

10) If your company/brand was a person, who would it be and why?
Hopefully me! As it is my art :)

11) If your company/brand was an object, what would it be?
A spool of thread, it's the basic element in a lot of my work.

12) If your customer was a cartoon character, who would it be?
Angelica's mom (from Rugrats), or Miss Piggy.

Logos

Coca-Cola, Disney, and GE logos all utilize organic, flowing lines that are both dynamic and pleasing to the eye. The text is a bit detailed in all three, but it is balanced by a monochromatic color pallet. The FedEx logo uses very simple, block text but since it uses a complimentary color pallet, it still catches your eye. The superman logo utilizes both a primary color pallet and overlapping shapes making it both exciting and interesting.

Side Note

Just read everyone else's posts... I hope you understand my sarcasm!

Project One Ideas

1. "Awed Jobs" (A team of well trained hit-men and women protected by only the best aliases).

2. "Break Fluid" (Different name, same basic idea).

3. "Karat Cake" (Underground company uses delicious cakes with jewelry and other stolen/illegal items baked inside in order for necessary transportation).

4. "The Body of Christ" (Using to our advantage, Jesus's lovely abdominal and pectoral muscles, we will bake multiple flavors of cookies cut to the shape of a man's torso... only the torso, now, don't get too excited. To be sold at all major convenience stores).

5. "Knolo Chews" (Similar to Starbursts in taste, but allow the ability to have any amount of knowledge needed for one full hour. Do not use in excess).
